As a trained singer, actor, and dancer, Serge Schonckert earned his Master of Arts in Performing Arts from the prestigious Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts in London.
Today he regularly performs at gala, jazz, and musical theatre events. Some of his notable leading roles on stage include Judas in "Jesus Christ Superstar" and Pluto in Jacques Offenbach’s operetta "Orpheus in the Underworld." He has collaborated with numerous Big Band projects, including the Luxembourg Jazz Orchestra, the Luxembourg Military Band and Big Band, and Big Band Opus78, among others.
One of his standout projects is the new edition of "Queen Swings! A New Kind of Magic, " which reimagines the music of the legendary rock group Queen in a Big Band jazz style.
In addition to his stage performances, Serge is a director, vocal coach, lecturer in modern singing and musical workshops, jury member, studio recording artist, and provides artistic guidance for stage projects.
