Jean-Jacques Mailliet, born in 1998, is a young violinist, composer and arranger from Luxembourg. He began playing the violin at the age of 3 and later entered the Conservatoire de la Ville de in 2009, first to study classical violin, then in the jazz department. He was lucky enough to take his first steps in the music industry, announcing
his first solo album with the Orchestre National de Jazz de Luxembourg (ONJL) in 2015, for which he composed all the tracks. He played several concerts with the ONJL, as well as for Luxembourg's Grand Ducal visit to Finland in 2016. In 2019, he entered the Paris Conservatoire
(CNSMDP), where he graduated with a Master's degree in the Jazz and Improvised Music department. In Paris, he created
the electronic music group HUMANOÏD. He was lucky enough to work with Gast Waltzing on various symphonic projects with the OPL, composing and arranging for the compositions and arrangements for the OPL, Dobet Gnahoré, Shiho, Zara McFarlane and Kyle Eastwood.
