Live better together through music

By using music as a universal language to enable all people to live better together, the Fondation EME places solidarity and inclusion at the heart of its mission.

Under the High Patronage of Their Royal Highnesses the Hereditary Grand Duke and the Hereditary Grand Duchess.

Bringing music to places where it is rarely heard.

The Fondation EME is committed to inclusion. Through the diversity of its programmes and participating musicians, it aims to include people in need in Luxembourg's cultural life.

On the one hand, we are expanding the range of cultural activities in social organisations. On the other hand, we are committed to making the cultural and musical landscape in Luxembourg accessible to those who are otherwise often excluded from it.

Audio Visual
Video isn’t just about pictures, it’s also about sound. Without the audio, you would have to guess what this film is about. A man sat at a desk starts watching a video on his computer.
[no sound]

The video on his computer shows a person speaking to the camera. It is playing with no audio.

Frustrating isn’t it? Not knowing what’s going on. That’s the situation for everyone who can’t hear. The man watching the video has a hearing aid.
Captions make videos accessible.    He turns on captions for the video playing.
Which is also handy for people who want to watch video in loud environments. Another man is watching the captioned video with a group of people chatting away next to him.
