Mélina Zéléniuc was born in Luxembourg, where she studied saxophone at the Conservatoire de la Ville de Luxembourg with Marco Pütz. She continued her musical studies in England at the Royal Northern College of Music (RNCM) and later at the Conservatoire de Maastricht. Throughout her studies, she was a member of the Borealis Saxophone Quartet, with which she performed on BBC Radio 3, won the title of RNCM Chamber Ensemble of the Year 2013/2014, became a finalist in the Royal Overseas League 2014, toured in Serbia, and recorded the CD "The North." Mélina now teaches saxophone at the Conservatoire de la Ville de Luxembourg, and she is a member of the Mosaïc Saxophone Quartet.
