Since graduating from the Design Academy Eindhoven in the Netherlands in 2016, Lucie Majerus has worked as a independent multidisciplinary designer. She has interned with textile designer and colourist Margrethe Odgaard (DK) and worked for textile artist Claudy Jongstra (NL). As a product designer, her interests lie in conceptual thinking, the senses, experiences and memories, social cohesion and material experiences. Her work ranges from product design to jewellery, illustration, textiles, costume, scenography and interior design. She likes to share her vision and passion by giving workshops and including the public in her work process. This has led her to work as a freelance mediator for several cultural institutions in Luxembourg, giving guided tours and leading creative workshops for audiences of all ages. Her work has been exhibited in the Netherlands, Italy, Hong Kong, Germany, Switzerland and Luxembourg, during Design Weeks, in museums of applied art and contemporary art centres
