
Emmanuel Chaussade began his musical studies at the CNR in Nantes. He then went on to study with Richard Vieille, Michel Arrignon and Jean-Noël Crocq at the Paris Conservatoire, where he won first prizes. A founding member of the Chôros quintet, with which he has toured extensively in France and abroad (Morocco, Tunisia, Réunion), he is a prizewinner at the Guérande international chamber music competition. After several years with the Musique de l'Air in Paris, he joined the Luxembourg Philharmonic Orchestra in 1997 as bass clarinet soloist.
