Gospel and Friends

For a year Robert Bodja has traveled all over Luxembourg to animate seniors to sing and live Gospel. For a short period of time, the residents forget their age and left their walker in a corner to sing, dance and laugh, thanks to the unifying power of the gospel, a music of Christian inspiration with African-American roots. The highlight of this project is a concert bringing together all the singers on the Philharmonie's stage in November 2017. A demanding project, "but we must always have objectives", replies one of the singers while laughing .

After the incredible success of the Gospel & Friends project, the Fondation EME, SERVIOR and the percussionist Robert Bodja decided to give a new wind to the project and to add two children's choirs to the singers of the Rhummer Gospel.

After several months of rehearsals, Gospel & young friends will take the stage at the Rockhal on November 7th at 7pm.

Bringing different nationalities together through music is the goal of this project. With Robert Bodja at the head, the 25 people from different backgrounds are put together with the seniors of "Op der Rhum" to sing together.

A final concert will take place on 17 November at 17:00 at the Cube521 in Marnach.
