Laurène Schuller is a violinist and music educator.
In 2016, she began to follow her vocation as a music educator by giving music initiation and music training lessons in various Luxembourg institutions.
After obtaining her baccalaureate in 2017, Laurène Schuller went to Germany to study ‘Elementare Musikpädagogik’ at the Hochschule für Musik und Tanz Köln in Prof. Dr. Claudia Meyer's class, with violin as her main subject (Ms Rose Kaufmann's class).
During her studies, Laurène was able to work in various areas of ‘Elementare Musikpädagogik’, including with groups of children aged 18 to 36 months, ‘mother and baby’ groups, groups of children (aged 4 to 7), people with dementia and children and adults with disabilities.
In 2021, Laurène became a trainee with the Luxembourg Philharmonic Orchestra (OPL), where she still plays regularly as a substitute.
After obtaining her Bachelor's degree in Cologne, Laurène embarked on a new project from the start of the 2024/25 academic year, joining Mr Philippe Koch's class at the Conservatoire Royal de Liège as part of the Master's programme in violin.
Laurène is currently a lecturer at the Conservatoire d'Esch/Alzette in early music, music training and violin.
Her passion for educational projects at the Philharmonie du Luxembourg and the Fondation EME have given her the opportunity to make some enriching encounters for her work as a mediator.
Since the 2023/24 season, Laurène Schuller has been in charge of the music workshop in the ‘Loopino’ series at the Philharmonie du Luxembourg.
