Jessica Quintus

Saxophone

Jessica Quintus was born in Luxembourg in 1986 and began her musical studies at the age of 12 at the Conservatoire de la Ville d'Esch-sur-Alzette. 
 

At 13, she took her first steps in Nadine Kauffmann's saxophone class. Throughout her musical studies, she regularly took part in advanced courses and masterclasses with renowned saxophonists, and completed her studies at the Koninklijk Conservatorium Brussel in Norbert Nozy's class with a ‘Master in Music’ diploma with Great Distinction. 
 

Jessica Quintus performs regularly as a soloist in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, with the Orchestre Philharmonique du Luxembourg, the Musique Militaire Grand-Ducale, the Luxembourg Philharmonia and the Luxembourg Sinfonietta, among others. She has set to music stage adaptations of two great German literary classics, Max Frisch's Homo Faber and Johann Wolfgang von Goethe's Faust. 
 

For the past 8 years, she has been actively involved in the activities of the ‘Ecouter pour mieux s'entendre’ Foundation. 
 

Jessica Quintus has been teaching saxophone at the Conservatoire de la Ville d'Esch-sur-Alzette since 2012.
