Aurélie d’Incau (*1990) is a Luxembourgish visual artist currently working between Lisbon and Luxembourg. After completing her academic education in Visual Arts in Maastricht (NL) and spending 2 years in Luxembourg, she fell in love with the inspiring Portugal and moved to Lisbon in 2020 to pursue a Masters in Art Education.
Her work is heavily research-based and explores the connection between art and play, with a focus on audience participation and interaction. She combines scientific knowledge from pedagogy, psychology, and neuroscience with her intuitive working methods in performance, costume design, artisanal techniques, storytelling, and installation. The colorful results are often interactive or participatory works, playful situations, happenings, as well as collaborations in the social art domain.
