Irène Chatzisavas studied violin at the Royal Academy of Music in London, then at the Hochschule für Musik in Frankfurt am Main and the Hochschule für Musik, Theater und Medien in Hannover. She has been a member of the European Union Youth Orchestra, the Pacific Music Festival in Sapporo, and the Gustav Mahler Jugend Orchester. In 2006 she joined the Italian chamber orchestra Spira Mirabilis, played in the Orquestra de la Communitat Valenciana, and in 2009 joined the Akademie de la Staatskapelle in Berlin. She has been a member of the West-Eastern Divan Orchestra since 2009 and of the Orchestre Philharmonique du Luxembourg since 2010.
