The Wellies - ETO

Milly is bored. She’s stuck at home, its raining outside and she’s played with all her toys. Mum tells Millie to find some wellies in the cupboard so that she can go and play in the garden. At first she doesn’t want to, until she discovers, right at the bottom of a pile of shoes, an amazing pair of shiny talking wellies with a special secret power; every time you jump in a puddle, they SPLASH you to any time and place that you desire. So with the audience’s help, Milly and The Wellies splash their way to all the most exciting places she can think of, learning Viking songs, meeting futuristic robots who speak in bubbles, and doing lots of things WAY more exciting than playing in her boring garden. But then one of the wellies gets lost. With the wellies separated, she can’t control the splashes. She has to leap through different times and places to find the missing welly and get back to the place she wants to be most of all – back home. Milly and the Magic Wellies takes its audience on an adventure propelled by kids desires and passions and the delight of splashing in a puddle, whilst appreciating home.
