The project
For its 10th anniversary, the Fondation EME is launching an initiative to train teachers in instrumental teaching for people with disabilities in order to build a national network where parents, regardless of where they live, can find a teacher for their child.
The creation of an orchestra will be the natural consequence and the ultimate goal.
Training
A training course in collaboration with the Ministry of National Education on the subject "Les fondamentaux de la pédagogie musicale adaptée aux personnes en situation de handicap" will take place from 16 to 18 April 2020.
Pilot project
A first pilot project is taking place at the music school in Differdange. From the start of the 2019/2020 school year, all children with and without special needs will benefit from musical training.
