2017 – 2018

Once a week, the youngsters from different backgrounds and cultures practice the Djembe with great enthusiasm and get to know eastern music. They learn to express themselves freely through rhythm and dance, language barriers do not exist here. After six months of rehearsal and instrument making, they have shown a colorful show at the Philharmonie Luxembourg: a great experience for spectators and participants.

2019 – 2020

With the charismatic percussionist Robert Bodja, around forty newcomers who visit the Lycée Technique du Centre – Annexe Kirchberg will have exciting musical experiences. Once a week the youngsters from different countries and cultures play the djembé together. They express themselves freely through rhythm and dance, without language barriers. The group is joined by the extracurricular choir of the Lyceum. Together the two ensembles will complete a rehearsal phase in Hollenfels and present their show in the Grand Auditorium of the Philharmonie.
