Rebecca chose the flute as her instrument at the age of 6, listening to the folk tunes of the famous Irish flautist James Galways. Touched by the warm atmosphere of folk music, she decided to study the flute and music education at the two Brussels conservatoires. After graduating with great distinction, she went on to learn folk music with teachers such as Breton flautist Jean-Michel Veillon. Rebecca has also recently learned to play the mandolin. She currently plays with Emaho, Klankennest, the Brazilian group Euforró, the Armenian group Arax, the trio Chansons d'Enfance, the Luxembourg project FluppdiFipps and several other projects.
