Maria Miteva

Transverse flute

Maria Miteva, flutist and director of the Ars Nova Lux ensemble, completed her studies in concert performance and pedagogy at the Vienna University of Music. Since 2009, she has been teaching at the UGDA in Luxembourg. Her admission as a young musician to Yehudi Menuhin's "Live Music Now" programme – including performances at the Vienna Konzerthaus – inspired her to continue her concert activity for a good cause with the EME Foundation in Luxembourg. She is currently a soloist in various orchestras, and gives chamber music concerts throughout Europe with the Ars Nova Lux ensemble, as well as with pianist Eugenia Radoslava.
