
Passionate about percussion from an early age, Luc Hemmer began his musical journey at the UGDA music school before continuing his training at the
Conservatoire d'Esch-sur-Alzette with Paul Mootz and Serge Kettenmeyer. He then went on to perfect his skills at the Strasbourg Conservatoire with Emmanuel Séjourné,
Stephan Fougeroux and Denis Riedinger. Finally, in 2013, Luc graduated from the Saarland College of Music with a Bachelor of Music under Thomas Keemss, followed by a Master of Music in 2016.
Luc has also been teaching percussion at the Ecole Régionale de Musique de la Ville de Dudelange since 2008.
On the creative and artistic front, Luc is a member of Inverse Percussion Project, his percussion duo founded by Bernard Grodos and himself, and of the ARS Nova Lux ensemble.
