After completing his Bachelor's and Master's studies at the Amsterdam Conservatoire and Codarts Rotterdam, Joël pursued his musical career with his group "The Metz Foundation", and regularly performs with projects such as the Josh Island Band and the LJO. Joël teaches jazz saxophone and jazz musical training at the Conservatoire du Nord and the Dudelange regional music school.
